BMW AIRHEADs TECH WEEKEND OCT. 10-13

Once again we are hosting the Airheads (old air-cooled BMWs)for a weekend of wrenching, laughing, eating, drinking, playing music, and having fun. Stop bye and say hi even if you don't have an Airhead!

Will post pictures after the event.

Blake and I just completed 2500 mile bike trip, covering much of the southeast.

We spent a whole day at the Barber Vintage Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham! It was Heaven! 5 stories of vintage bikes! We highly recommend it! 29 Dreams is a motorcycle camp not far from there, but since Blake had a flat tire, we ended up at a Days Inn.

We did mostly camp on our trip, though, and had perfect, georgous weather the whole way!

Thank you for checking our blog. Feel free to leave comments. Cheeers! ma

ANN'S CHATEAU HOSTEL, LEBANON, KY.

We are centrally located in a quaint historic town surrounded by knobs. (small beautiful mountains or large hills) :) We are 60 miles south of Louisville and Lexington, 30 miles from Bardstown and Danville, and 150 miles north of Nashville and Knoxville. Our Lebanon Main Street is Hwy. 68 and Hwy. 49 intersects it in our small historic downtown.

We are 1 1/2 blocks south of that intersection on Proctor Knott, which is Hwy. 49. We have a nearby park, tennis, swimming pool, gym, shopping, churches, restaurants, and historical sites

We are 10 minutes away from Maker's Mark Distillery!

Werent apartments in our historic building, and are enjoying the transition into hosteling. I have traveled all through British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon the last few months, and I left my car and motorcycle home. I flew to Seattle, then totally did buses, trains, and ferries, and I stayed in hostels. I love the hostel family energy and the spirit travelers all share! Being in the fall of my life, I appreciate young energy and guests. (me and grampa can use all the help we can get!)

We offer scholarships for talents like cleaning, helping us caulk the chimney, remove a dieing tree, etc.

So come stay with us! Only $15 a nightfor a dorm bed, and we offer private rooms when available for $25 a night! We have Wi-fi, tv, pool table, library, massage table, bicycles to loan, campfire out back, space for camping, and more. So, come experience our historic 1886 home and hostel in beautiful Lebanon, Ky. (Marion County), a great central base for exploring our rich, historic, beautiful area ! Please call ahead for reservations. Thanx and lookin' forward to meetin' ya!
