Still here and kickin'! :)

 4/2022   Still here and putting up occasional guests.  Offering  a bedroom with double bed, a kitchen, and a bath.  Have had several wonderful guests through warmshowers.org, mostly bicyclers going cross country.   Have lots more flower beds now and a garden.  Still ride my motorcycle every chance I get.

Have 2 black cats, Marcel DuChamp and Cosmo, and this is a no smoking property.  Also, have a granddog, Astro, who is very friendly.

 Haven't used this blog much.  I mostly post on Facebook.  We have had many wonderful guests through WarmShowers.org, hosting bicyclers that are traveling cross country.  This has been a rich and rewarding experience.

SEPTEMBER ALREADY!

 Miss Blake, but he is always with me.

Hiked Alaska for a week in May, staying in the hostel in Juneau, and enjoying the glaciers, mountains, eagles, fresh Alaska air, and the local people!  Looking forward to returning!

 The birds planted corn in the front yard this year, and the squirrels are now enjoying eating it.

Working with my flowers is very healing.

Had one or two bicycle guests this spring.  I am still not up to company and hosting much.

Had a nice memorial for Blake in May at the cabin with family and friends.

Spending time cleaning and organizing garage and sheds.

This week gathered paw paws from back trees and started picking up early walnuts.

Have had some lovely local motorcycle rides and plan to ride this afternoon.

WINTER WONDERLAND!

Blake passed away 8.15.14 at 11:11am

It's been kinda quiet around here.  Blake's Memorial Library open for visiting, sitting, meditation, and spending peaceful time.  All are welcome.

ERSKINE

Erskine visited us while we were at third chemo at VA in Lex 12.20.13 and took us to dinner!  Here he is guiding us along, us in our car, he on his bike in the drizzle!  Was so great to see him!  He's such a great friend and we love him very dearly!

Nice visit from Charles W. from Louisville. Stopped after visiting his dad, Ed, in the Village NH. Always great to see him!

Dave & Deb from Canada

Dave & Deb from Haveloch, Ontario stopped for an overnight through the Motorcycle Travel Network on their way to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Great bike, Honda 1300ST, great folks!! We enjoyed their visit!
